Question 1

What is Brothé?

Accepted Answer

Brothé is bone broth: a rich stock slow-simmered for more than 28 hours from bones, fresh vegetables and herbs. It is rich in collagen and essential amino acids, easy to drink with no gamey taste, and full of goodness for your skin, bones, gut and overall wellbeing. Enjoy it every day. It is 100% natural, made in a Thai FDA-certified facility, with no preservatives, no added sugar and no MSG.

Question 2

Do the flavors have the same ingredients and nutrients?

Accepted Answer

No. The chicken and pork recipes use different bones, so their ingredients, nutrition facts and collagen types differ. Please check the details for your chosen flavor on the product page before you order.

Question 3

How is the nutrition information tested?

Accepted Answer

The nutrition facts on the product page are per-flavor results from a laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC 17025. Figures may vary by flavor and pack size.

Question 4

How is it delivered and stored?

Accepted Answer

Brothé ships frozen. When it arrives, put it straight in the freezer and keep it until the expiry date printed on the container. Once thawed or opened, keep it in the fridge and finish it within 5-7 days.

Question 5

Do I need to thaw the broth first?

Accepted Answer

Yes, thaw it before heating: move it from the freezer to the fridge the night before, use your microwave's defrost setting, or leave it at room temperature for 2-3 hours.

Question 6

How do I heat and enjoy Brothé?

Accepted Answer

Pour the thawed broth into a pot or bowl and warm it gently on the stove or in the microwave. You can also use it as the stock for congee, rice soup, soups and other dishes.

Question 7

Why doesn't the broth always set into the same jelly?

Accepted Answer

How firmly the broth gels depends on the flavor, the temperature and how it has been chilled, so the texture is not a measure of its nutrient content. Please refer to that flavor's nutrition facts on the product page.

Question 8

Can I cook with Brothé?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Use it in place of stock in congee, rice soup, soups, stews, sauces or any dish that needs umami. Taste before seasoning, as sodium levels differ between flavors.

Question 9

How does subscription billing and management work?

Accepted Answer

You are billed at the price and on the cycle shown in the plan you choose. You can see your next delivery, pause, skip a cycle or cancel your plan from your account page.
